So, organizing and managing your eBooks and books read and to read is so overwhelming. There are so many tools out there like Goodreads, LibraryThing, and Collectorz to name a few. While no single solution is right for everyone, I have found one that works for me.
In comes the Book Database by Nose Graze. Ashley has created AMAZING tools for book bloggers, many of which I use here on my own blog. Everything from the Ultimate Book Blogger plugin and all of the add-ons I have followed her for years! So when I saw that she had created a book database plugin, I HAD to have it.
So basically with the book database, it is a plugin that is attached to my blog and managed from the backend of my site. I can track what books I have read and not read, when books are coming out, books ratings, and so MANY stats.
Keep in mind with my stats above that I have not added even a fraction of the books I have read or owned. I have a lot more to add!
When adding books there are so many different fields that help to sort everything in the long run. For example when you enter the book series title and position, when you create another book in that series it will show the books on the right hand side (like the example below.
This is truly one of my favorite plugins I have installed on my blog. I even have a page in the top menu of the site that shows the books in my library. I still have to catalogue my physical books and then slowly work on my digital books.
These are just some of the features of the book database and more are added with each update. Ashley listens to requests and a lot of times they are added further on. If you are looking for a great way to organize your books and you have a WordPress blog, I would highly recommend this!
